UK Stocks-Factors to watch on May 11

May 11 (Reuters) -Britain's FTSE 100 .FTSE index is seen opening higher on Thursday, with futures FFIc1 up 0.1%.
* ROLLS ROYCE: British engine maker Rolls-Royce RR.L said it performed as expected in the first part of the year, with flying hoursrecovering and steps taken by its new CEO to find savings putting it on track to meet 2023 targets.
* VODAFONE: Vodafone Group VOD.L said the chief executive officer of its largest shareholder Emirates Telecommunications Group Co PJSC EAND.AD, also known as e&, willjoin the British telecommunications company's board.
* JD SPORTS: British sportswear retailer JD Sports Fashion Plc JD.L named Dominic Platt as its chief financial officer.
* ITV: British broadcaster ITV ITV.L said total advertising revenue (TAR) in the first three months of the year was down 10%, as expected.
* WOOD GROUP: John Wood Group WG.L said its first-quarter revenue rose on the back of a steady demand across its business units.
* GENEL: Genel Energy GENL.L scrapped its 2023 production forecast on Thursday, saying it was no longer valid amid the closure of the Iraq-Turkey Pipeline in March.
* MAN GROUP: Man Group EMG.L said its chief executive Luke Ellis would retire in September and be succeeded by the company's current president Robyn Grew.
* S4 CAPITAL: Martin Sorrell's advertising group S4 Capital SFOR.L said it was on course to meet its full-year guidance.
* TESCO: The Guardian newspaper reported that John Allan, the chairman of Britain's biggest retailer Tesco TSCO.L, was facing claims of inappropriate behaviour from four women.
* PURPLEBRICKS: Britain's biggest online-only estate agency Purplebricks PURP.L granted Strike Limited an exclusive short period to negotiate a possible sale as the smaller rival said it did not intend to make an offer.
