The dollar index, which measures the greenback against a group of major currencies, was last down 0.06% while Sterling GBP=D3 after earlier climbing more than 1% to $1.0837, was last up 0.69%.

Swedish inflation surge paves way for big Riksbank hike

STOCKHOLM, Sept 14 (Reuters) - Swedish inflation surged again in August, with Wednesday's statistics office data likely to force the central bank into an aggressive rate hike later this month and again in November. Riksbank Governor Stefan Ingves had already said that it must act forcefully, despite worries that the economy is heading into a sharp slowdown.
