Deutsche bank, Rabobank hit with EU antitrust charge over bond cartel

By Foo Yun Chee BRUSSELS, Dec 6 (Reuters) - Deutsche Bank DBKGn.DE and Rabobank were charged by EU antitrust regulators on Tuesday of taking part in a government bond cartel, the latest move against a sector which has racked up millions of euros in fines for various competition violations. The European Commission, which can fine companies up to 10% of their global turnover for antitrust violations, said it had sent a charge sheet known as a statement of objections to the banks.

Deutsche Bank CEO warns of reliance on government aid packages

Deutsche Bank sees U.S. leveraged loan defaults near record highs in 2024

BEIJING/SHANGHAI, Nov 4 (Reuters) - German lender Deutsche Bank DBKGn.DE plans to sell Panda bonds in China's interbank market, it said on Friday without disclosing the size of any potential issue. The application to issue the debt has been submitted to China's central bank and is pending regulatory approval, the German bank's statement said.
