U.S. stock indexes fell on Wednesday ahead of the Federal Reserve's decision on interest rates later in the day, while an upbeat outlook from Advanced Micro Devices lifted chipmakers. .N
At 10:38 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was down 0.67% at 33,857.96. The S&P 500 .SPX was down 0.23% at 4,067.21 and the Nasdaq Composite .IXIC was down 0.13% at 11,569.615.
