Bank of Italy releases November data on foreign investors holdings of Italian government bonds.
DEBT
Italy's Treasury said it would offer up to 2.5 billion euros ($2.70 billion) of a BTP bond maturing on February 1, 2033, buying back five BTP bonds maturing in 2023.

(*) Europe's biggest gas grid operator will invest 10 billion euros by 2026 to boost its transport, storage and LNG businesses with the aim to increase Italy's energy security and prepare the country for green fuels, it said on Thursday.

The company's net debt after lease stood at around 20 billion euros at the end of last year, at levels similar to those seen at the end of September and below analysts' estimates, two Italian newspapers reported.
Italy's state lender CDP and Australia's Macquarie MQG.AX could submit a non-binding offer valuing TIM's network between 17-19 billion euros before TIM's next board meeting on Feb 14, daily La Repubblica reported.

The Italian shoemaker revenues last year reached pre-COVID levels, with growth rates in Italy similar to the ones seen abroad, its chairman Mario Moretti Polegato told daily La Repubblica. German carrier Lufthansa LHAG.DE said it had offered to buy an initial minority stake in ITA Airways, Italy's state-owned successor to Alitalia.
