UK Stocks-Factors to watch on May 24

May 24 (Reuters) -Britain's FTSE 100 .FTSE index is seen opening lower on Wednesday, with futures FFIc1 down 0.75%.
* M&S: British clothing and food retailer Marks & Spencer MKS.L forecast "modest" growth in revenue in its new financial year after 2022-23 profit beat expectations.
* BT: Britain's telecoms regulator Ofcom said it would allow BT BT.L to offer new discounted wholesale fibre pricing to broadband providers as it did not consider the scheme to be anti-competitive.
* KINGFISHER: British home improvement retailer Kingfisher KGF.L kept its full-year outlook unchanged after reporting a fall in first-quarter like-for-like sales.
* AVIVA: British insurer and asset manager Aviva AV.L reported growth in key business lines over the first quarter of 2023, but a slowdown in net flows to its wealth business after a volatile period for markets.
* SSE: British power generator and network operator SSE Plc SSE.L on Wednesday reported a near 89% rise in annual profit, buoyed by performance in its renewables business.
* SEVERN TRENT: Severn Trent SVT.L forecast strong earnings growth in 2024 fiscal after the British water supplier reported a small increase in its 2023 annual profit, supported by robust consumption by businesses and households.
* TULLOW OIL: Oil and gas explorer Tullow Oil TLW.L maintained its 2023 production forecast of 58,000 to 64,000 barrels per day, and said its capital expenditure of $400 million would be weighted towards the first half of the year.
* ASTON MARTIN: Aston Martin's Formula One engine partnership with Honda from 2026 will not affect ties to Mercedes on the road car side, according to the team's CEO of performance technologies Martin Whitmarsh.
