State-run Gazprom threatened its action after accusing Ukraine of withholding gas that was meant for Moldova.

FRANKFURT, Nov 21 (Reuters) - German gas trader VNG is nearing a deal under which it will receive several billions euros in state aid to shoulder the huge costs of replacing Russian gas with higher-priced alternatives, two people familiar with the matter said. An agreement could be reached as soon as this week and cover a mid single-digit billion euro sum for VNG, which it would receive in loans or guarantees, the people said.

Poland says to take over Gazprom's Polish assets

WARSAW, Nov 14 (Reuters) - Poland will take over Gazprom's GAZP.MM Polish assets, a minister said on Monday, adding the move concerned the Russian company's 48% stake in Europolgaz, which owns the Polish section of the Yamal gas pipeline. The compulsory administration will ensure security of the critical infrastructure used for gas transit, Polish Development Minister Waldemar Buda, said in an emailed statement.

Moldova may sue Gazprom over supply shortfall, official says

Nov 3 (Reuters) - Eastbound gas flows via the Yamal-Europe pipeline to Poland from Germany rose on Thursday while flows of Russian gas to Europe via Ukraine were stable. Exit flows at the Mallnow metering point on the German border of the Yamal pipeline stood at 4,485,811 kilowatt hours (kWh) per hour between 0700 CET and 0800 CET, up from about 4,100,000 kWh/h for most of Wednesday, data from pipeline operator Gascade showed.

MOSCOW, Nov 2 (Reuters) - The Swiss-based operator of Russia-led Nord Stream 1 gas pipeline said on Wednesday it has completed initial data gathering at location of the pipeline damage on line 1 in Swedish exclusive economic zone. According to preliminary results of the damage site inspection, technogenic craters with a depth of 3 to 5 meters were found on the seabed at a distance of about 248 metres from each other, it said.

Nov 2 (Reuters) - Eastbound gas flows via the Yamal-Europe pipeline to Poland from Germany rose slightly on Wednesday morning, while Russian gas flows through Ukraine to Europe remained stable, operator data showed. Exit flows at the Mallnow metering point on the German border of the Yamal pipeline were at 4,117,234 kilowatt hours (kWh) per hour between 0800 CET and 0900 CET, up from 3,619,762 kWh/h earlier this morning, pipeline operator Gascade's data showed.
