STOCKS:

The benchmark BSE Sensex .BSESN rose 314.43 points, or 0.5%, to 62,861.54, while the broader NSE index .NSEI gained 78.25 points, or 0.42%, to 18,612.35, tracking the mood in the broader Asian market, as mixed U.S. jobs data bolstered bets that the Federal Reserve may skip an interest rate hike later this month. .BO


RUPEE:

The Indian rupee INR=IN weakened 0.36% versus the U.S. dollar, and quoted at 82.61 per dollar, tracking rebound in dollar index and rise in U.S. yields. INR/


GOVERNMENT BONDS:

Benchmark 10-year bond IN072633G=CC was quoted at 101.75 rupees, with yield up 2 bps at 7.0058%; vs previous close of 6.9823%, tracking spike in U.S. yields. IN/


OVERNIGHT INDEXED SWAPS:

The one-year overnight indexed swap rate INRAMONMI1Y= was up 4 bps at 6.56%, while the benchmark five-year swap rate INRSMONMI5Y= rose 3 bps to 6.03%.


CALL MONEY/REPOS:

India's overnight call money INROND= rate was up 10 bps at 6.30% against 6.20% in the previous session. The overnight TREPS rate INTREPTOT=TCCL was at 6.38%, compared with the previous day's weighted average of 6.6205%.
