STOCKS:

The benchmark BSE Sensex .BSESN fell 346.89 points, or 0.55%, to 62,622.24, while the broader NSE index .NSEI lost 97 points, or 0.52%, to 18,536.85, dragged by index heavyweight Reliance Industries and financial stocks, ahead of gross domestic product data for the March quarter. .BO


RUPEE:

The Indian rupee INR=IN weakened 0.02% versus the U.S. dollar, and quoted at 82.73 per dollar, despite a further decline in the yuan supported by broad dollar inflows. INR/


GOVERNMENT BONDS:

Benchmark 10-year bond IN072633G=CC was quoted at 101.88 rupees, with yield down 2 bps at 6.9874%; vs previous close of 7.0102%, as U.S. yields ease further. IN/


OVERNIGHT INDEXED SWAPS:

The one-year overnight indexed swap rate INRAMONMI1Y= was down 1 basis point at 6.53%, while the benchmark five-year swap rate INRSMONMI5Y= fell 3 bps to 6.03%.


CALL MONEY/REPOS:

India's overnight call money INROND= rate was up 5 bps at 6.30% against 6.25% in the previous session. The overnight TREPS rate INTREPTOT=TCCL was at 6.27%, compared with the previous day's weighted average of 6.2571%.
