- Canada on Monday approved Pfizer Inc's PFE.N Paxlovid, an antiviral pill used for the treatment of COVID-19 infections. The country has received a shipment of more than 30,000 treatment courses and expects another 120,000 Paxlovid courses to arrive in February and March, according to Canada's Health Minister Jean-Yves Duclos. - Two days before Verizon Communications Inc VZ.N and AT&T Inc T.N plan to deploy more segments of their new 5G mobile internet technology, The chief executives of major U.S. carriers like Delta Air Lines DAL.N , American Airlines Group Inc AAL.O United Airlines Holdings Inc UAL.O among others warned again on Monday that thousands of flights could be grounded by interference from the technology and that "the nation’s commerce will grind to a halt."
