MADRID, March 23 (Reuters) -Spanish engineering firm Sacyr SCYR.MC has received 15 offers for its two facilities and environmental services units in a divestment process that the company plans to complete this year, a person familiar with the talks told Reuters on Thursday.
The Spanish builder had initially announced it would sell 49% of some services units, without ruling out considering other bids, but mostof the offers arefor 100% of each business, the source said, adding that Valoriza Servicios Medioambientales was the one that attracted the most offers.
The company, which also is seeking a partner for its water subsidiary before the end of 2023, will evaluate all offers for the two services units in the coming three months before going ahead with other divestment deals, according to the source.
Sacyr's assets have attracted interest from infrastructure funds, industrial companies and private firms, Chief Financial Officer Carlos Mijangos told Reuters last year.
The divestment plan would bring additional cash to speed up growth in its concession infrastructure businesses, mainly in continental Europe, Britain, Australia and Canada.
