Top China brokerage CITIC posts 7.7% fall in 2022 profit
BEIJING, March 30 (Reuters) -CITIC Securities Co 600030.SS, 6030.HK, China's biggest brokerage, reported on Thursday a 7.7% fallin profit in 2022 compared with a year earlier, hurt by a volatile stock market.
Net profit for the 12 months ended December fell to 21.3 billion yuan ($3.10 billion)from 23.1 billion yuan a year earlier, the company said in a stock exchange filing.
The results were largely in line with the preliminary results released in January.
