UK Stocks-Factors to watch on Jan 11



Jan 11 (Reuters) - Britain's FTSE 100 .FTSE index is seen opening higher on Wednesday, with futures FFIc1 up 0.2%.

* DARKTRACE: British cybersecurity company Darktrace DARK.L cut its full-year revenue forecast, saying prospective customers were more reluctant to run product trials due to worsening macro-economic environment.

* DIRECT LINE: Motor and home insurer Direct Line DLGD.L said it does not expect to pay a

final dividend

for 2022, following surge in claims due to severe cold weather in Britain in December.

* BARRATT: Britain's Barratt Developments Plc BDEV.L said it would

build fewer homes

in 2023 fiscal than year earlier and flagged uncertainty in market, as higher mortgage rates amid a cost-of-living crisis drive homebuyers away.

* PAGEGROUP: PageGroup PAGE.L lowered its

full-year operating profit forecast

, as the global recruiter saw a reduction in both candidate and client confidence in its fourth quarter amid a challenging macroeconomic backdrop.

* SAINSBURY: Sainsbury's SBRY.L , Britain's second biggest supermarket group,

forecast full-year profit

towards the upper end of its previously guided range as it reported a 5.9% rise in underlying sales for the Christmas quarter.

* JD SPORTS: British clothes and footwear retailer JD Sports JD.L reported

total revenue growth

of over 20% in six weeks in the run up to Christmas which it said would help lift annual profit to top end of a forecast range.

* FERREXPO: Ferrexpo FXPO.L said its annual production of iron ore pellets

slumped

due to higher costs, logistical constraints and disruptions caused by Russian invasion of Ukraine.

* GOLD: Gold scaled an eight-month peak underpinned by a subdued dollar, but still moved in relatively tight range as traders positioned for inflation data that could influence U.S. Federal Reserve's interest rate hikes.

* STRIKES: British government introduced legislation to parliament which would require key public services to maintain minimum safety levels during strike action by workers.
