- Microsoft Corp MSFT.O agreed to buy Activision Blizzard Inc ATVI.O in an all-cash deal valued at about $75 billion, using its largest acquisition by far to grab a videogame heavyweight that has been roiled by claims of workplace misconduct. Link
- AT&T Inc T.N and Verizon Communications Inc VZ.N on Tuesday accepted the new limits after a month-long standoff between the cellular operators and aviation officials, who had promised to limit flights over concerns about the 5G signals' effect on aircraft instruments. Link
- Drugmaker Gilead Sciences Inc GILD.O said that a network of little-known drug suppliers and distributors sold illicit and potentially dangerous fake versions of its HIV medicines that ended up in pharmacies and in the hands of patients. Link
- Exxon Mobil Corp XOM.N said it has set a goal to reduce or offset greenhouse-gas emissions from its operations to zero by 2050, as investor and public pressure mounts on oil producers to respond to climate change. Link
