Norway's Hydro plots path to near-zero carbon aluminium By Pratima Desai LONDON, Nov 29 (Reuters) - Hydro is aiming to cut the carbon footprint of some of its aluminium to near zero by 2030 with technologies including renewable energy and carbon capture storage (CCS), the CEO of one of the world's largest aluminium producers told Reuters. Aluminium was recently included on the European Union's critical raw material list due to it being a key material for the energy transition.
