March 16 (Reuters) -The following bids, mergers, acquisitions and disposals were reported by 2000 GMT on Thursday:
** UBS Group AG UBSG.S and Credit Suisse Group AG CSGN.S are opposed to a forced merger, Bloomberg News reported on Thursday, citing people with knowledge of the matter. nL1N35O2AU
** A U.S. bankruptcy judge declined to delay the $1.3 billion sale of crypto lender Voyager Digital to Binance.US, saying Voyager customers should not be forced to wait out a challenge by the Department of Justice that is unlikely to succeed. nL1N35O1P9
** Regulators at the U.S. Federal Deposit Insurance Corp (FDIC) have asked banks interested in acquiring failed lenders Silicon Valley Bank and Signature Bank to submit bids by March 17, people familiar with the matter said. nL1N35O1G6
** London-based cinema operator Vue International has not been able to pursue discussions about a deal for struggling rival Cineworld Group CINE.L, after it was frozen out of a sale process run by Cineworld's advisers, Sky News reported. nL4N35O3J4
** Malaysia's Petronas [RIC:RIC:PETR.UL] has offered 38 billion rupees ($460 million) to buy a 20% stake in the green energy arm of India's largest power producer, NTPC, in the first deal of its kind by a state-run firm, three sources told Reuters. nL4N35O1NG
** The chief financial officer of Hutchison's 0001.HK Three UK said talks with Vodafone VOD.L about combining their networks in Britain were "progressive and positive", although he declined to comment on the outcome. nL8N35O3AI
** Gold Fields GFIJ.J and AngloGold Ashanti ANGJ.J are not considering a full-scale merger after they agreed to combine their neighbouring Tarkwa and Iduapriem mines in Ghana to create Africa's biggest gold mine, the two companies said. nL1N35O0HV
** Shares in Hurricane Energy HUR.L soared up to 31% after it agreed to be bought by London-based oil refining firm Prax Exploration & Production, valuing the British oil producer at 249 million pounds ($300.6 million). nL4N35O2PK
** Moroccan waste-management company Arma is exploring expansion opportunities in African cities and is close to a deal with authorities in Ivory Coast capital Abidjan, Chief Executive Youssef Ahizoune said. nL1N35O0PU
** Indian drugmaker Eris Lifesciences Ltd ERIS.NS said it had bought nine dermatology brands from Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd REDY.NS in a 2.75 billion rupees ($33.24 million) deal, to expand in the cosmetic dermatology business. nL4N35O2CN
** Convenience store operator Alimentation Couche-Tard ATD.TO is in exclusive talks to buy some of French energy company TotalEnergies' TTEF.PA retail assets for 3.1 billion euros ($3.29 billion) in cash, the Canadian company said. nL4N35O25E
** Private equity firm CVC Capital Partner said it had acquired a "minority stake" in Indonesian gas company PT Samator Indo Gas AGII.JK from existing shareholders for $155 million. nL1N35O0HQ
** Wall Street bank JPMorgan said that Credit Suisse being taking over by another lender, most likely its Swiss rival UBS, was the most likely scenario for the embattled lender. nL8N35O1HR
** Holcim HOLN.S said it has acquired HM Factory, a provider of precast concrete products for an undisclosed sum. nFWN35O0B6
** U.S. private lender First Republic Bank FRC.N is exploring strategic options including a sale, Bloomberg reported on Wednesday, citing people with knowledge of the matter. nL4N35O00M
** New Zealand's Pushpay Holdings Ltd PPH.NZ received a higher NZ$1.62 billion ($1.00 billion) buyout offer from a consortium that included investment firms Sixth Street and BGH Capital, sending the payments company's shares up nearly 14%. nL4N35N4CZ
** Siemens Energy ENR1n.DE brought in 1.259 billion euros ($1.33 billion) via the sale of new shares to help fund its takeover of wind turbine maker Siemens Gamesa, the company said on Wednesday. nL8N35N6NW
