Oct 14 (Reuters) - Britain's FTSE 100 .FTSE index is seen opening higher on Friday, with stock futures FFIc1 up 0.88%.

* SHELL: Shell Energy Australia, global oil and gas major Shell Plc's SHEL.L renewable energy business in the country, and AMPYR Australia (AMPYR) signed an agreement to develop a battery energy storage system, the companies said.

* AMIGO: Sub-prime lender Amigo Holdings Plc AMGO.L has received approval from Britain's financial regulator to return to lending under certain conditions, the company said on Thursday, nearly two years after it ceased lending.

* GOLD: Gold prices ticked higher, helped by a pullback in the U.S. dollar and Treasury yields, although growing anticipation of another oversized U.S. Federal Reserve rate hike kept the bullion on track for a weekly decline.

* OIL: Oil prices reversed earlier losses and inched up in Asian trade, supported by a weaker U.S. dollar and as diesel inventories fell, while Saudi Arabia and Washington continued to clash over plans by OPEC+ to slash output.

* METALS: Copper prices rose as a rally in Wall Street boosted sentiment for risky assets amid expectations of some Chinese government stimulus ahead of a key political meeting.

* UK's FTSE 100 snapped a six-day losing streak on Thursday, as a boost from reports the British government was discussing making changes to its fiscal plan overshadowed fears of aggressive U.S. interest rate hikes after red-hot inflation data.
