Oct 26 (Reuters) - Britain's FTSE 100 .FTSE index is seen opening lower on Wednesday, with futures FFIc1 likely down 0.02%.

* FISCAL STATEMENT: British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak is considering delaying next week's planned fiscal statement in order to fill a hole of 40 billion pounds ($45.82 billion) in the UK's finances, The Times reported.

* STANDARD CHARTERED: Standard Chartered STAN.L reported a 40% increase in quarterly profit as higher interest rates boosted the emerging markets-focused bank's income and gave it ammunition to upgrade revenue outlook.

* TESCO: Tesco TSCO.L tried to revive part of its lawsuit against discount supermarket Lidl, telling a London court that its German-owned rival had applied for trademarks for a yellow circle against a blue background in "bad faith".

* MADE.COM: Made.com Group MADE.L said talks with a number of interested parties for a potential sale of the company have been terminated after they were unable to meet the timetable.

* OIL: Oil prices eased on Wednesday after industry data showed U.S. crude stockpiles rose more than expected, but losses were capped by supply worries.

* GOLD: Gold prices edged higher on Wednesday, helped by a frail U.S. dollar and fall in Treasury yields, while investors awaited guidance on the U.S. Federal Reserve's policy stance to gauge whether a slowdown is likely.

* The UK's blue-chip FTSE 100 closed flat on Tuesday as shares of banking group HSBC HSBA.L tumbled 6.8% after the company reported a profit slump and surprise change in finance chief.
