W. Africa Crude-PKN mops up some Nigerian crude though overhang persists
LONDON, March 24 (Reuters) -An overhang of April loading Nigerian crude continued on Friday due to lower buying interest from India as well as France due to strikes though Poland's PKN took some Forcados.
* Poland's PKN bought three cargoes of April loading Forcados: two from Vitol and one from Shell, trade sources said.
* Nigeria's Eyrie closed a sell tender for a cargo of Escravos loading May 16-17 on Friday.
* Nigeria's Levene closed a sell tender for a cargo of Bonny Light loading May 8-9 without awarding the cargo.
* Congo's Djeno May programme emerged with a larger than usual eight cargoes.
* Eni was offering Congolese N'Kossa loading end April at dated minus 50 cents and Ghanaian Sankofa at dated Brent plus 50 cents also loading end April.
* Total was showing four Nigerian cargoes loading in May: Amenam at dated Brent plus 50 cents, EA at plus $6 and Forcados at plus $3.75 and Akpo at dated Brent plus 25 cents a barrel.
* Total was also offering Angolan Nemba at dated Brent minus $1.25 loading in May.
* Glencore was ofering Bonga loading in early April at dated Brent plus $2.75 a barrel and Qua Iboe at dated Brent plus $1.80 a barrel loading end-April.
* Angola's state oil firm Sonangol was still offering two spot cargoes in May: a Gimboa at dated Brent minus $3.50 and a Girassol at dated Brent plus $3.00 a barrel
