- Avast AVST.L faces an investor backlash against its 6.2 billion pounds ($8.52 billion) deal to sell itself to an American rival NortonLifeLock NLOK.O after Schroders, the biggest independent shareholder in the cybersecurity company, raised concerns about the takeover. Link

- Fully vaccinated people are far more likely to develop symptoms if they catch the Delta variant of the COVID-19 compared with earlier strains, a large British public health study has shown. Link
