** The Bank of Canada will start publishing summaries of its monetary policy meetings in an effort to improve transparency and shore up its credibility as it struggles to bring down high inflation.

** Apotex Pharmaceutical Holdings Inc, the largest Canadian-owned drug manufacturer, has agreed to be acquired by U.S. private equity firm SK Capital Partners.

** Kevin O'Leary-backed WonderFi Technologies Inc WNDR.TO is offering a new way for customers to buy stocks and bonds through its crypto currency trading platform, Bitbuy, while tokens and digital assets such as bitcoin plummet in a volatile market.


** Calgary-based Enbridge Inc ENB.TO has signed an agreement with 23 First Nation and Metis communities to sell an 11.57% interest in seven pipelines located in the Athabasca region of northern Alberta for C$1.12 billion ($817.82 million).

** Upstart commercial carrier Flair Airlines Ltd is planning to expand its fleet to 27 aircraft in a bid to grow capacity by 50 per cent by next summer.

** An Ontario regulator is widening a review of the life and health insurance industry after an initial probe found "concerning practices involving the most common way individual life and health insurance policies are sold" in the province. ($1 = 1.3695 Canadian dollars)
