UK Stocks-Factors to watch on June 3



June 3 (Reuters) - Britain's FTSE 100 .FTSE index is seen opening 14 points higher at 7,122 on Thursday, according to financial bookmakers, while futures FFIc1 were up marginally by 0.16%.

* WORKSPACE: Workspace Group Plc WKP.L slipped into its first annual loss in 12 years, hurt by a shift to remote working and rising preference for a hybrid working model.

* PENNON GROUP: Pennon Group PNN.L said it had bought smaller peer Bristol Water BTW_pa.L for 425 million pounds.

* FOXTONS: Foxtons Group FOXT.L expects first-half adjusted operating profit to exceed pre-pandemic levels, helped by a strong recovery in the UK housing market after an initial hit from the health crisis.

* INFORMA: Events organiser Informa INF.L said it was on track to deliver its base goal of at least 1.7 billion pounds in sales this year.

* B&M: British discount retailer B&M BMEB.L reported an 83% jump in annual core earnings, having thrived during the COVID-19 pandemic.

* ANGLO AMERICAN: Anglo American AAL.L said that it has restarted underground mining at its Moranbah North coal mine in northern Queensland state after it withdrew its workforce from the mine following a reading of elevated gases on Feb. 20.

* REGULATION: A significantly high number of cryptocurrency-related firms are not meeting required standards under anti-money laundering rules, Britain's financial watchdog said.

* GOLD: Gold prices inched lower as a slight uptick in the dollar offset support from lower Treasury yields.

* OIL: Oil prices rose on expectations for a surge in fuel demand, particularly in the United States and Europe and China, later this year at the same time major producers are maintaining supply discipline.

* The UK blue-chip index .FTSE closed 0.4% higher on Wednesday, helped by gains in heavyweight energy and banking stocks, while Bloomsbury Publishing jumped on a robust earnings report.
