POLITICS
Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni pledged to support the recovery of flood-hit areas of northern Italy on Sunday after returning early from the G7 summit in Japan to see the damage first hand.
French President Emmanuel Macron and Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni met on Saturday at the summit, seeking to turn the page after a French minister accused Rome of mishandling an influx of migrants.
DEBT
Treasury announces sale of BTP Short and BTPei bonds, with relative amounts to be auctioned on May 25.

Milan Bourse calculated on Friday that ex-dividend will subtract 1.27% from the Ftse Mib index.

The former phone monopoly is being urged by some directors to hold an extraordinary board meeting to name a candidate sponsored by top investor Vivendi VIV.PA to fill a vacant director seat, two sources said on Saturday.
GENERALI GASI.MI
Italy's top insurer will receive non-binding offers for its unit Tua Assicurazioni within four weeks, Il Sole 24 Ore reported on Saturday.
MFE-MEDIAFOREUROPE
The broadcaster said on Friday it had purchased shares in Germany's Prosiebensat.1 to round up its stake, lifting its secured shares to 28.87%.
