May 7 (Reuters) -Fresenius Medical Care FMEG.DE beat first-quarter expectations on Tuesday with a 23% jump in operating earnings, citing higher pricing and savings from its cost-cutting programme.

First-quarter adjusted operating income rose to 416 million euros ($448 million), above an average analyst estimate of 386 million euros in a consensus posted on the company's website.

FMC said it confirmed its full-year guidance and expects revenue to grow by a low- to mid-single digit percent rate and operating income to grow by a mid- to high-teens percent rate compared to prior year.
