May 24(Reuters) - Britain's FTSE 100 index .FTSE is seen opening lower on Tuesday, with futures FFIc1 down 0.6%.

* AMIGO: British sub-prime lender Amigo AMGO.L has been granted court approval to pay compensation to past customers mis-sold loans and a chance to stay in business and resume lending, the company said on Monday.

* BARCLAYS: Barclays BARC.L said on Monday it had identified a single "material weakness" in its internal control processes, as it refiled its accounts with U.S. regulators after a blunder led it to issue more structured notes than it was allowed.

* HSBC: UK pension schemes should not ignore climate change, a senior executive at The Pensions Regulator said on Monday, the first watchdog to weigh in after a top HSBC banker was suspended after playing down the financial risks of climate change.

* JPMorgan's JPM.N consumer bank Chase in Britain has attracted more than half a million customers since launching eight months ago, in the most detailed snapshot given by the Wall Street giant to date on how the digital venture is progressing.

* TRANSPORT: London's long-delayed and over-budget Crossrail finally opens to passengers on Tuesday, offering faster journeys from Heathrow Airport and Berkshire in the west to Essex in the east through a series of new, long tunnels under Britain's capital.

* OIL: Oil prices fell on Tuesday as concerns over a possible recession and China's COVID-19 curbs outweighed an expectation of tight global supply and a pick-up in fuel demand with the U.S. summer driving season.

* UK's top share index rose on Monday, aided by gains in financials and strength in resource-linked shares, while home improvement retailer Kingfisher rose after posting upbeat quarterly results.
