How to Download the XM App

If you’re downloading our app for the first time, follow the simple three-step process below to get started. If you already have a previous version of our app installed, simply update to the latest version.

How can I gain access to the XM App?

To gain access to the XM App, you have to download it from the Apple App store or Google Play by searching XM.COM. To start using the app, download it, follow the account opening procedure, make a deposit and start trading immediately. You can also open a Demo account and use it for practice.

Can I use the XM App to open an MT4 or MT5 account?

The XM App currently only supports MT5 accounts. New users can open an MT5 account through the XM App, whereas existing clients can use the app to open additional MT5 accounts. Any account that is opened via the XM App can also be used on our MT5 platform.

Can I use my existing MT4 or MT5 account ID with the XM App?

The XM App currently only supports MT5 accounts. If you already have an MT5 account, you can use the XM App for trading as well as for funding and account management.

How do I get my MT5 account verified?

If you are an existing client with a verified MT4 or MT5 account, you can open an additional MT5 account via the XM App without having to re-submit your verification documents. However, if you are a new client, you can verify your MT5 account directly via the XM App by providing us with all the necessary verification documents (i.e. Proof of Identity and Proof of Residency).

What instruments can I trade on the XM App?

On the XM App, you can trade all the instruments available at XM including Stock CFDs, Stock Indices CFDs, Forex, CFDs on Precious Metals and CFDs on Energies.

Can I use the XM App alongside the MT5 platform?

As long as you have an MT5 account, you can use either the XM App or the MT5 platform. Any trading performed via the XM App will be reflected on your MT5 platform and vice versa.

Can I use the XM App to make a deposit?

You can use the XM App to manage the funding of your accounts. You can perform deposits, withdrawals and transfer funds between your trading accounts via the XM App.
