XM Attends ACI World Congress 2021

One of the key aspects to being a successful trader is understanding how geopolitical events affect the global markets. Over the years, XM has been dedicated to spreading literacy in this topic to traders. That is why we are pleased to have attended the 59th ACI World Congress and 45th ICA Conference as Gold Sponsors and exhibitors.

Hosted by three major financial associations, this conference has long been a major event on the trading calendar of the MENA region. Taking place from the 17th to 20th November 2021 at the Hilton Al Habtoor in Dubai, it was attended by hundreds of experts from all over the globe, coming together to discuss one the biggest issues that this generation of traders face.

This year’s conference was particularly significant to our current climate as the congress organising committee were focused on addressing how to approach the market in the era of Covid-19, taking into account the political, economic and social disruption that affects people in the industry worldwide.

Our event speaker was Avramis Despotis, founder and CEO of Tradepedia. As a highly-respected industry expert, well known for predicting the 2007 stock market fall and specializing in risk analysis, he has had a long history of educating traders on many specialist topics.
